The Main Editor Peer Review process
The Main Editor Peer Review process are:
- Submission of Manuscript: Authors submit their manuscripts to the journal via a manuscript management system or email.
- Initial Check: The chief editor conducts an initial check to ensure the manuscript meets the journal's basic requirements, such as format, writing style, and topic relevance.
- Eligibility Assessment: The chief editor assesses whether the manuscript is suitable for further review. If the manuscript does not meet the basic standards, the editor may reject it at this stage.
- Assignment of Reviewers: If the manuscript passes the initial check, the chief editor selects several reviewers who are experts in the relevant field of the manuscript. Typically, three to five reviewers are chosen to provide independent evaluations.
- Peer Review: Reviewers read the manuscript in detail and provide comments, critiques, and suggestions for improvement. They also give recommendations on whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
- Evaluation of Reviewers' Feedback: The chief editor receives the reviews from the reviewers and evaluates their comments and recommendations.
- Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' feedback, the chief editor makes the final decision regarding the manuscript. This decision can be:
- Accept (Accepted without revisions)
- Minor Revisions (Accepted with minor revisions)
- Major Revisions (Requires significant revisions before a final decision)
- Reject (Rejected)
- Communication with Authors: The chief editor communicates the decision along with the reviewers' comments to the authors. If revisions are needed, the authors are given time to revise the manuscript according to the feedback.
- Revision and Resubmission: Authors submit the revised manuscript. The chief editor, and if necessary, the reviewers, evaluate the revised manuscript.
- Final Decision: Once the revisions are accepted and deemed satisfactory, the chief editor makes the final decision on the manuscript's publication.
Production and Publication: Accepted manuscripts proceed to the production stage, where they are prepared for publication in the journal
